The holidays just can’t do what we hoped they would. Whether it’s grief, disappointment, loneliness or bitterness, holiday cheer can’t heal a broken heart, only Jesus can. The series of poems and stories in this show will remind us to acknowledge brokenness with one breath, and bring them before the Lord with another.
Spoken Word Poetry is a performance art form that expresses ideas in a creative way. This kind of poetry only has one rule: it must make the listener feel something. The poet will use a mixture of rhyme, rhythm, alliteration, and metaphor to express their idea.
Join us this Christmas to experience it!
With two shows at 3:30pm and 5:00pm, there's an opportunity for everyone to attend! Our artists and performers will use their gifts to put God's glory on display through poetry and story telling.
We'll also have a kids ministry Christmas extravaganza for children from brith to 3rd grade. You won't want to miss it!
